The Atlas RF Turbidimetric Latex Kit provides quantitative measurement of rheumatoid factor (RF) in human serum or plasma. RF antibodies, primarily IgM, target the Fc portion of IgG and are commonly present in rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions. The assay uses latex particles coated with human gammaglobulin, and agglutination proportional to RF concentration is measured by turbidimetry.
